Dear parents and guardians,
This term, the children of K1 will be learning about creature’s great and small.
They will be exploring and discussing the different habitats of different animals.
The habitats that will be discussed are the pond, the rainforest, underground, the desert and the polar region. As the primary caregivers of these children, we encourage you to join us in educating our children. Some ways you could use are talking to them about the different animals you can find at the different habitats they’ve learnt, having a pet, teaching them about caring for a pet, talking to them about what different animals can and can’t eat.

The children of K2 however are taking a journey back in time to the age of the dinosaurs. They will be talking about pre-historic creatures and endangered species.
We have taken the liberty of helping you to help them by listing several interactive websites for you to visit with your children to help them gain a better understanding of the topic.
