RE: THEMES IN TERM 4

Dear Parents,

Welcome back to school! We hope everyone had a good holiday and enjoyed they’re Eid al-Fitri celebration. Our heartfelt thanks to all who attended our Mooncake Raya celebration making it a fun and memorable occasion.

Now that Term 3 is over, we will be moving on to the next theme: “Occupations”. Therefore, students will participate in activities to reinforce language, mathematics, science, aesthetics, and social emotional concepts. The study units are as follows:-

A) People in Medical Services, Creative Professionals 1. Doctors, Nurses 2. Ambulance personnel, pharmacists 3. Artists 4. Sculptors, Architects and Designers	A) Interesting Occupation 1. Journalists and Photographers 2. Actors and dancers

In support of the theme, we have plans of exposing the children to other activities that support the introduced concepts. Such activities include career talks where we invite professionals to speak to the children about their occupations, role play, etc. We are looking forward to a wonderful term with your help and support.
